Hi, I would just like to give a big hug and thank you to Sue for the AEB Home Study course I recently completed.

The methods outlined in the course are paramount for anyone hoping to forge a meaningful way of being with and working with horses. At a personal level, the course has helped to validate the beauty of inter-species connection - simply being with my horse and enjoying each other's company. So much of the equestrian world is filled with DOING... grooming, exercising, schooling, competing, more schooling, activities, discipline. etc. The focus is so much on what we want the horse to DO that we forget to just BE! I actually love being with my horse for no other reason than we are together.

Having passed Sue’s AEB theory course I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wishes to increase knowledge and understanding of the innate behaviour of horses.

The well-structured and comprehensive material provides plenty of thought-provoking, in-depth, reading and homework. Embracing this core awareness surrounding innate behaviour and applying it through lightness, feel and timing is increasingly being awakened in the emerging shift in human-horse interaction.

I am now a lot more aware of myself than before and I have raised my standards in all aspects of care for Rocky and any other horses I take care of including any I’m riding. As a result with Rocky I have a horse that looks at me with much more respect and softness. I have more awareness of his mental, emotional and physical requirements.
