Roni and Alano

Sue came to see my poor boy Alano when he was in hospital with an injury to his right eye. He was there for 3 weeks during which time his eye deteriorated and was removed at the beginning of Nov 2019.

He immediately connected with Sue and was soft and relaxed the whole time she was there with him.

The most amazing ask came from him towards the end of his session when he pushed Sue's paperwork to one side and put his muzzle on Sue's quartz dowsing crystal. Sue got the message and started spinning it around his body and when she came to his neck he walked backwards and lowered his head so that the spinning crystal was above his ears!!!!!! He literally placed his head under the crystal.

Alano stood like this for minute after minute seeming to soak up the energy from the crystal and not moving or asking for anything else, it was easily 5 to 7 minutes. It was a truly extraordinary 'moment' for him.

He is an active boy with a playful outlook and he doesn't really do stillness. He morphed into a different horse in hospital. He made sense of things that had bothered him for a long time and Sue was part of that journey. He returned home with huge amounts of trust in his heart and has learned a new way of being.

Sue was part of that journey and is the most amazing healer.

After Alano came home Sue came to treat him at the field. The horses both stayed with Sue and it became a healing circle for me and them. The accident had caused more of an effect on all of us than I was probably acknowledging and it took time for us all to settle back into a new normal. Ellie my older mare had been alone for 3 weeks, Alano had been in 24/7 with strangers looking after him for 3 weeks & all sorts of painful experiences & I had been simply pacing myself to visit both of them twice daily and do my full time job.

Sue came to see us when we were in that fallout time when the immediate stress is over but the hangover of change was sitting on all of us. It was while Sue stood with the horses and me that I was able to see how we could move forward and understand what had happened. It brought all three of us closer together & Alano has morphed into a wiser more considered boy.

I have no doubt that Sue's visits helped him to adjust to his new normal and Ellie and mine too xx
